NGOs & SMEs

Here, we outline the initiatives we have designed to support sustainable growth and empower business and social communities.

CSO Lead Program

CSOLead is a program that focuses on increasing the capacity of management/leaders of Civil Society Organizations with the right skills and knowledge in running third sector organizations. This program aims to help leaders find the right strategy to make changes/improvements to their respective organizations for the better. This program includes leadership competency development, governance and management improvement plans, human resource development plans, and mentoring.

This program will cover various important aspects, starting from the development of in-depth leadership competencies, which will provide a strong foundation for leaders in carrying out their critical tasks. Furthermore, through planned governance and management improvements, the project will help steer the organization onto a more organized and efficient path.

SUSTAIN Program

NAMA Integrated Center for Excellence (NICE Indonesia) was established as a social enterprise institution that works to increase capacity in the field of education and the third sector. NICE's mission is to strengthen communities and organizations through capacity building in managing funds, creating programs with strong impact, and human development services to create a better Indonesia. One of NICE Indonesia's programs to increase third sector capacity is the SUSTAIN Program.

For most third-sector organizations, financial viability and sustainability are of paramount importance. However, most newly established third sector organizations usually do not feel confident that their financial flows are secure. Some uncertainty about future earnings is inevitable. Therefore, this program aims to empower third sector organizations with the knowledge and tools to build financial sustainability within the organization. In this program, participants will understand the value, role and contribution of consultants to empower the financial sustainability of civil society organizations in their countries as well as understand the core processes of financial sustainability consulting, best practices and the quality of stable and guaranteed financial sustainability.

FinManage Program

Financial Management (FinMANAGE) is an organizational capacity building program developed to assist selected CSO partners in managing finances in accordance with best practice standards. The Fin-MANAGE approach will develop NAMA/NICE partners who come from a financial background to become CSO financial management trainers through increasing financial management capacity.

Up Skills Program

The Upskill Program is an initiative that has been designed with the main aim of improving the quality of Human Resources (HR) in various institutions and organizations. With a sharp focus on enhancing individual competencies and skills, the program provides members with the opportunity to hone their skills in a variety of relevant areas.

Through a series of training, coaching and development, the Upskill program functions as a powerful driving tool to increase the productivity and effectiveness of members of an institution or organization. By providing access to new knowledge, technological developments and the latest trends, the program helps participants pursue excellence in their performance, while adapting to the ever-evolving demands of change.

Social Loan Program

The Social Loan program is an initiative that has been carefully designed to provide assistance to Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) selected as part of the NAMA network in Indonesia, Tanzania and Kyrgyzstan. The main objective of this project is to help CSOs achieve financial sustainability by diversifying income.

Within the framework of this project, loans will be distributed to selected CSOs from NAMA through collaboration with implementing partners that we have selected. What is interesting is that this loan will be provided with an interest-free repayment mechanism (Qard Hasan), showing a real commitment to supporting the success of the CSOs involved.
